Lessons are characterised by strong and positive relationships between pupils and teachers. Teachers know pupils well. Often teachers target the learning that individual pupils need because they know them so well
In key stages 1 and 2 teachers plan many opportunities for pupils to deepen their knowledge, understanding and skills.
Satchel is an online tool used by Bemrose School for viewing and setting homework. It used to be called ‘Show My Homework’. It allows parents/carers to see details of tasks that have been set for their child. It also enables students to access their homework tasks online at any time. A free app for parents and students is available for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Android devices. These will allow push notifications of reminders and tasks set as required.
Students and parents should aim to log in every day to see what homework has been set. Parents can track their child’s progress and help to manage their time and activities.
