The school remembered VE day on the 8th May. A variety of events went on during the week, including specific VE day lessons in History, Music, Science, Maths and Geography. Staff dressed up in their 1940’s gear. VE day Assemblies for each year group. Dear and Let’s explore activities and a special rewards treat for students chosen by their Head of Year. The primary school had a special assembly with wartime songs. The dining hall prepared wartime food of Bubble and Squeak, Wollaton Pie and Scones. Penguin PR were in school for the day. The best dressed award went to Chelle Bryne, who had a different wartime outfit, for everyday of the week.
