Dear Parents and Carers
As the 2025-26 secondary timetable comes to a close and we move pupils up one year, on
Friday May 22nd, 2026, we will close school to secondary pupils at 1.15pm.
Pupils will attend the lessons periods 1-4 and will be dismissed at 1.15pm. Pupils who wish
to access lunch may do so at break or can request this through their Head of Year.
Year 11 and Year 13 will have had 2 weeks of exams and this will be a study at home day
for these pupils in preparation for their exams that start on Monday 1st June. On Friday
May 22nd there are some exams, Sport, Italian or Arabic exams, and these pupils must be
in school for these exams then will go home. It will also be the start of their study leave
though all pupils are welcomed back into school and will have a dedicated area to study
along with support and access to their teachers should they wish. Pupils will still be
expected to attend exams in full school uniform.
This time will allow staff the time to move books and resources for the June start with a
new timetable and pupils moving up a year group.
We will reopen on Monday June 1st, 2026.
